Synecore celebrates 10 years as preferred M&E contractor to the hospitality, leisure and retail industry
In 2005 Paul Thomas and Adrian Eade identified a gap in the market for a professional M&E contractor to the hospitality and leisure sector, one that worked hard to develop and maintain long term partnerships with its clients across London and the UK. That year the duo formed Synecore Limited and today we're celebrating a major mile stone, our 10th anniversary.
With their renowned knowledge of the HVAC and electrical industry Synecore’s Directors have successfully developed an enviable client base within the hospitality and leisure industry over the past 10 years. Leading restaurateurs, The Restaurant Group (TRG), Leon, Wasabi, Five Guys, Cote and hoteliers, The Hilton, De Vere and IHG have all benefitted from Synecore’s ability to support national roll out programmes.
Favoured for our customer service and professional design and installation, Synecore is firmly at the heart of TRG’s national expansion programme. We have completed in excess of 80 projects for TRG’s blue-chip brands, including Frankie and Benny’s, Garfunkel’s, Chiquitos and Coast to Coast.
TRG’s Paul Mitchell says, “We have worked with Synecore for seven years throughout our roll out programme. They have a very proactive, professional approach and have delivered on every project to date. The Synecore project management team has extensive industry knowledge and experience, providing a comprehensive service from initial design through to handover. Synecore has proven to be an excellent partner in our development on retail, leisure and airport projects.”
Paul Thomas, Director of Synecore, explains, “Our clients appreciate the personal customer care we offer, and our desire to surpass their expectations. Every installation we do is allocated to one of our experienced Project Managers, who are involved in the scheme from the early stages to ensure they are familiar with the client’s requirements and the site conditions. The entire project team is managed and overseen by our Projects Director Adrian Eade, who has significant industry knowledge and experience of over 30 years.
“The fit-out industry is like no other, the site hours can be painful and the programmes can appear unachievable, however that’s why we stand out. We understand this sector like no other and most importantly our site teams will do whatever it takes to get the project completed on time.
“It has been a wonderful journey, building a super team of staff, a close network of clients and some very loyal relationships with key suppliers. We will continue to prosper and have built an excellent reputation, treating everyone we work alongside with respect and gratitude, while always building long lasting partnerships, not just five minute relationships,” concludes Thomas.
As part of Synecore’s customer care strategy, we have recently invested in the paperless work management system, JobFlow. This new tool enables a more efficient communication between the onsite work force and head office. Rather than using traditional paper job sheets and phone calls, engineers can access job sheets via their smart phones and tablets, allowing clients to sign on screen. This method of instant reporting gives real-time costings to ensure projects remain on budget and on time.
Supporting Synecore’s M&E contractual work, is our service and maintenance programme for commercial properties. This essential aftercare service is supported by our own team of electrical and HVAC engineers, located throughout London and the rest of the UK.
Gary Piper takes responsibility for Synecore’s FGas compliancy and is a key part of the team, spending most of his time with clients explaining their legal obligations and completing free FGas surveys. The recent EU ban on the use of ozone depleting R-22 HCFC refrigerants in any air conditioning and refrigeration systems has been a particular concern to the Synecore team.
“Air conditioning systems or refrigeration units installed over 10 years ago are likely to run on R-22 HCFC refrigerants,” explains Piper. “To support businesses affected by the law change, we are offering advice on replacing the whole system, or modifying the existing equipment to use new eco-friendly refrigerants.”
In our 10 year reign we have remained dedicated to keeping our clients well informed – be it work carried out onsite or changes to industry regulations. Adrian Eade, Project Director says, “Our success over the years has undoubtedly been a result of understanding our clients and their needs. We will endeavour to keep the very ethics that Synecore has been built upon and look forward to many more years in business.”
