Scania Service Centre Gatwick is Due to Open in 2019
Synecore is delighted to announce its involvement in the new state-of-the-art Scania Service Centre in Gatwick.
Located just South of Crawley in West Sussex, just off of the M23 motorway, Scania’s new depot will feature five drive-through workshop bays, parts and service department, a new and used truck sales centre and a rental facility.
Gallagher Properties has already broken ground on the 1,871m2 building site and the development is expected to take 12 to 14 months.
Synecore will be providing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and installation for the Scania Service Centre.
“Synecore’s MEP services will be instrumental in this development,” explains Synecore’s Managing Director, Paul Thomas. “The proposed state of the art equipment includes automatic lighting a recycling station, a sustainable water drainage system and solar roof panels.
“Each area has required methodical planning to ensure the electrical, ventilation, heating, cooling and gas supply are installed efficiently. Our MEP design teams have worked closely together on this project to ensure all the pipework, ductwork and electrical cabling is installed in unison, thus ensuring progress on site is as smooth as possible.”
Synecore is due to commence work on the Scania Gatwick development at the end of October.
